Park with the Uyeharas

January 29th

We met up with Auntie Ashley, Uncle Todd, Damon and Trevor for lunch today at the park. It was so nice to see them all! Damon and I had a lot of fun playing in the sand ( thanks, Damon for letting me play with your sand toys!) and the playground structure and Trevor was such a good boy the whole time, hanging out with all of us!

Tahoe 2012

January 27th

Today we went up to Tahoe for the first time this year! The snow hasn't been very good this season but since a large storm hit last weekend, mommy and daddy wanted to head up to Tahoe! The weather was beautiful! Sunny and pretty warm for this time of year! Mommy said the snow for skiing was pretty bad, but we all still had fun hanging around the village and playing in the little snow that was there!

Tech Museum

January 25th

Today my mommy met up with her friend Kiku, from Gymboree, and her daughter , Malena. Malena is a little over a month older than me. We met up at the Tech Museum in San Jose. The museum was a little advanced for us, but we still managed to find things to play with and entertain us! It was fun to see them again!

Pigtails II

January 21st

Today I sat long enough to let mommy put pigtails in my hair! My hair is finally getting long enough to wear 'normal' pigtails, however, just like hair clips, I don't like to keep them in too long! Mommy was able to catch a few pictures of me with my pigtails.

January 18th

I can now navigate the iPhone all by myself! Well at least I can scroll through things and push on the 'play' button for all the videos. I also know that I can play Elmo / Sesame street on it and so whenever I see the phone I ask for 'Elmo... elmo ... elmo!!!' My mommy and daddy have to hide the phone from me because if I see it, I want it!

Happy Hollow II

January 15th

Today I got to go back to Happy Hollow! I haven't been there since I can walk and I really enjoyed it! I loved all the animals and was fascinated by all the sounds they made and tried to mimic them all! I also got to ride the Danny Dragon train again and enjoy the little sights along the way. Mommy thought she'd try me on the carousal again ( last time I cried so much they stopped the ride for me to get off), hoping that I'd like it this time... but I DID NOT like it at all! I was fine until the ride actually started to move! I lasted the whole ride but whimpered/shaked the whole time and just kept telling mommy 'no, no , no , no'! Mommy felt bad. Maybe when I'm older I'll enjoy it. Other than that I had a really fun time running around the whole place and seeing everything! I hope we go back again soon!!

Meeting Auntie Caryl

January 14th

Today my grandma's really good friend, Auntie Caryl, came to visit her and I got to meet her for the very first time! I had a lot of fun hanging out and going out to dinner with everyone.  My mommy always talks about Auntie Caryl because not only has my grandma/and mommy known her a long time, but my mommy's favorite teddy bear ( which she still has today ) was a gift from her!  I hope to see her again soon!

My first booboo

January 13th

Today I had my first booboo! We were all going outside to take Rocky out to go potty but as we were going out the door, Rocky saw a cat and made a dash for it! Mommy was holding onto Rocky's leash and I was holding mommy's other hand, but we both got jerked forward and unfortunately I landed straight on my forehead! OUCH! Luckily it just ended up being a surface bruise, but it sure didn't feel good! Mommy said I was brave though and that I didn't cry too long. I think I was more scared than anything because I was happily playing with all my toys a few minutes later! I still have a scar, but hopefully it will go away soon!

January 7th

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to a park in San Jose. It was a nice big park with a lot of fun things to play on. I really liked the little tiny rocking animals they had and wanted to try each and every one of them over and over again. I also loved walking on the sand and going down the slides. Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to swing on the swing ( Mommy's already tried a few times without success), but I still don't like it!

Ardenwood/ Playing with Grandpa

January 3rd
Today I got to go to Ardenwood with Grandma! The monarch butterflies are there right now and I got to see them all clustered up in the trees! I also got to see a lot of the animals there and walk right by a peacock! I had so much fun! Earlier in the day Grandpa came by to visit too! I had a lot of fun showing him my new toys and having him play with me! What a fun day!

January 2nd

Today was the Rose Bowl game and the Ducks were playing Wisconsin! I got all suited up in my Oregon gear and rooted them on! It was a good game and the Ducks won!! I got to practice my 'touchdown' sign a lot throughout the game! Yippee!

New Year Day

January 1st
Today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for New Years Day! Grandma made a lot of really yummy food and I got to taste some 'traditional' new years food! I had a lot of fun over there hanging out with everyone! I can't believe it's the new year already!
