Polo Beach/ Halloween

October 31st
Today we went down to Polo Beach near Wailea. It was beautiful there! Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to walk on the beach, but I wasn't really into it.  And Daddy tried to get me used to the ocean again, but I was still not happy being near it! I was perfectly fine just hanging out on my towel on the beach!

Later that day we got to visit with my Daddy's good friends from high school, Uncle Dean and Auntie Nicole, and their two daughters- Naomi ( 3 1/2 yr old) and Kimiye (10 mo old). It was so nice to meet them and I had so much fun playing with all their toys and trying to play with Kimiye! Because it was halloween, we all got our costumes on and got a nice group photo!

Later that night we went over to my Maui Grandma's cousin's house for dinner! Their house was in a nice neighborhood that had lots of trick-o-treaters so I got the chance to go to some of the houses nearby and go trick-o-treating too! I had a lot of fun watching all the kids and holding out my bag for 'treats'! It was a fun night and I really enjoyed meeting all my 'Aunties' and 'Uncles' at dinner! They were so much fun to be around and made me laugh and kept me well entertained through the night ( I wish mommy had gotten some pictures of them!! Bad mommy!).  I hope to see them again soon!

October 30th

Today we left Kauai and had to say goodbye to Uncle Darin, Auntie Erin and Tobi! I will miss them a lot ! It was so nice to see them and to hang out with them! We also said goodbye to grandma and grandpa, who were going back to the mainland.

We had a quick and easy flight to Maui! I was wide awake the whole time and enjoyed looking out the window on the plane. My Maui Grandma met us at the airport and we went to her house to see Oba-ban and Auntie Traci! It was my first time meeting Auntie Traci! She was so good with me and it was so nice to finally meet her.

Last day on Kauai beach/ pool

October 29th
Since I've been on california time, I wake up very early! This morning my mommy and I walked down to the beach to watch the sun rise! It was so pretty!

It is our last full day on Kauai so we decided to make the most of it and go back to the pool and beach! I was much more comfortable in the pool this time and enjoyed floating around in my floaty thing as well as without it! Auntie Erin and Uncle Darin joined us for lunch and I had so much fun hanging out with them! I'm going to miss them a lot!

Grandma and grandpa joined us later and we all walked down to the beach! I was better about walking on the sand but I still wanted nothing to do with the ocean/waves!! Not even with grandma's coaxing or with Daddy's company!

October 28th

Today my daddy went out diving again and this time caught a nice tako ( octopus)! I got to touch it's suckers but didn't care for the way it felt!

Later that night we all went out to dinner at Keoki's! Unfortunately I was still on california time, so I got pretty tired and fussy before dinner even started! I didn't want to sit for dinner,  but luckily there were enough people to take turns and walk me around the shops nearby! And even though I wasn't there for much of the dinner, mommy and daddy enjoyed the dinner with the rest of the family!

October 27th

Today we went to Kapaa to check out the shops , eat lunch and get mommy more shave ice! I slept most of the time, but woke up just in time to get a few tastes! Yum!

Later that day my mommy and daddy went out to dinner with Auntie Erin and Uncle Darin. They had a really yummy dinner and had a lot of fun catching up and hanging out with them! While they were gone, I got to hang out with grandma, feed the koi in the koi pond, and watch and try to catch all the chickens and roosters!

October 26th
My mommy and grandpa went to play some tennis this morning. I got to join them on the court afterwards and hold the tennis racket and 'play' with the tennis ball! My mommy hopes that I'll enjoy playing tennis when I get older!

Later that afternoon I got to go to the swimming pool! It was my first time in a pool and I was hesitant at first! It took a little time for me to get comfortable enough to let mommy and daddy put me in the water. They bought me a big floaty thing that I let them put me in so that I could float around the pool! I had a lot of fun and did pretty good for my first time! Uncle Darin joined us too, so it was really nice to have him there and to get to play with him by the pool as well!

After all the activity I was tired!  I took a nice nap outside by the beach with grandma and grandpa!

October 25th

My mommy loves shave ice, so today we went to Koloa Shave Ice and I got my first taste! I wasn't too impressed with it at first but I loved it after a few tastes!

Later that night Auntie Erin and Uncle Darin invited us over to dinner! It was so nice to hang out with them! They made a very yummy dinner for my mommy and daddy! And I got to meet Tobi for the first time! He is such a good doggie! And he's so soft! I loved watching and playing with him!

Off to Hawaii!

October 24th
Today we left for Kauai! It's my first trip on the airplane and to the airport! We had to get up super early to catch the plane, and my mommy was hoping I'd sleep more, but I was too interested in everything that was going on! I did OK on the plane ride and loved waving and saying 'hi' to all the people around me! I did have a hard time trying to take my nap but luckily I only cried for a little while and luckily we had a whole row to ourselves so I was able to sprawl out to sleep!

Once we got there, we had to wait for daddy to get the rental car. I occupied myself by pushing my stroller all over the place but with all the activity and the humidity, I was drenched! =) I definitely have mommy's sweat glands!! Poor me!

We met up with Grandma and Grandpa, who had arrived the day before, and got to hang out at the beach near our resort! I was still hesitant of touching the sand, but by the end I was walking on it! I didn't like the waves or water though and refused to get any where close to it! Uncle Darin met up with us for some lunch too! It was so nice see him!
