This morning I got to hang out all morning with my daddy because my mommy went to run another race in San Francisco. It was a run sponsored by the SF Giants and she got to run ( and give a hi-five) to Brian Wilson along the course, who was out there cheering everyone on! Meanwhile, me and Daddy hung out at home and played. I really like listening and watching my daddy play his guitar and ukulele. Maybe one day I'll be musical like him and play an instrument!

Later that day we all met up with Uncle Spencer, Auntie Stella and Tyler at the Palo Alto Art Festival. It was fun to see them and getting to hang out with them. Tyler and I especially had fun at a store along University Ave that had a bunch of toys out to play with! We probably could've stayed there a long time playing, but everyone was starting to get hungry!

We all went to Tyler's house and Auntie Ashley, Damon, Auntie Anna and Uncle Ken all met us there for dinner! It was really nice to see them all! Auntie Ashley is due in November with a baby boy and she looks great! My mommy had a fun time catching up with all of them and I had a fun time playing with Damon and Tyler! Tyler has so many fun toys and a cool little 'play pen' where we all hung out and played! I'm looking forward to seeing them all again soon!
Today me and mommy met up with Auntie Nicole and baby Phoebe! Auntie Nicole is still on maternity leave so she was able to meet up with us for lunch! Baby Phoebe is already 10 weeks old and she's such a cutie! She was so good the whole afternoon and even woke up and stayed awake for quite awhile while we were with her! I'm really looking forward to growing up with her and getting to play with her when she gets older! Hopefully we'll see her again soon!
August 24th
Today my mommy met her co-worker, Kinnari, for lunch. I had a fun time hanging out with her and playing with her sons, Nashir and Shibu, and their dog Star! Her sons were so funny! They made me laugh and I really enjoyed watching them! They were very entertaining! Hopefully we'll all hang out again soon!
Today I turned 11 months old! I am getting so big! I can reach all the tops of the garbage cans, all the cords hanging down from the tables, all the seats on the chairs, and all the shelves that my mommy and daddy thought were safe places to keep things! They better get their act together and start baby proofing the house better!

I have 6 teeth now ( 4 on top and 2 on bottom) and have been teething quite a bit, so I've needed a little bit more love and soothing lately. I love to point at things, especially when I want something and I'm slowly learning some signs to tell my mommy and daddy when I want 'more' or when I'm 'hungry'.

I am standing and cruising around the furniture a lot, but I'm still hesitant taking my hands off things that support me. I like to chase Rocky around and give him his toys and I'm getting better at throwing the ball/ toys to him.

I still love looking at my books, listening to music and dancing, opening and closing things and shredding toilet paper and kleenex. I love to play hide and seek with my stuffed animals and peek-a-boo with my mommy and daddy. I'm also becoming more interested in faces and babies and like to point to them whenever I see them. Today my mommy, grandma and I went to my second cousin (my mommy's cousin), Jennifer's bridal shower. She's getting married in November and we are very excited for her! We had a really fun time there, especially my mommy because she participated in an 'Amazing Race' game- full of kayaking, jogging to the park, water balloon tossing, fishing bottles out of a pool and solving puzzles- while grandma watched me and we both watched everyone participating. The bridesmaids did a really nice job of having fun games! I had a fun time watching everyone play them all and even 'helped' a little with one of the collage projects/games. My mommy had a nice time catching up with Jennifer and getting to see Auntie Eileen and my other second cousin, Stephanie. It was a long day for me, but I did really well and didn't get fussy at all, even though it was well past my nap time by the time we left! We look forward to seeing them all again soon! Since my daddy was away abalone diving and Uncle Ryan was away at work, my mommy and Auntie Janell decided to get together for lunch. It was nice to see Auntie Janell and Jeremy and Garrett! It had been a long time since we had all gotten together and my mommy had a fun time catching up with Auntie and I had a fun time playing and watching Jeremy and Garrett! They have so many cool toys at their house that I have so much fun playing with! Auntie Janell made lunch for everyone and even cut some up for me! It was yummy! Thank you Auntie! I had a fun time at their house and my mommy did too! We look forward to seeing them again soon!
August 17th
Today my mommy's co-worker, Kyle, had the day off and invited us to join him and Devin at the Oakland Zoo! It was my first time at the zoo! I stayed awake the whole time we were there and enjoyed seeing all the animals! Unfortunately it was a hot day, so most of the animals were 'hiding' in the shade or shelter, I enjoyed seeing the ones that were out and about! I especially liked the giraffes because they were so close to us and so big! I had a fun time hanging out with Devin and Uncle Kyle too! Thanks for inviting us! Hopefully I can go back to the zoo again soon!
August 12th
I got to go up to Tahoe again! My mommy and daddy wanted to go one more time before the summer ends and the cold weather starts! It was a really nice weekend up there and I had fun going on my first gondola ride, visiting squaw valley, and hanging out with the family!
Today we went to Tyler's 1st bday party! It was nice to see him, Auntie Stella and Uncle Spencer! I also go to meet a lot of new babies and see a lot of Aunties and Uncles I haven't seen in a long time! The party was a lot of fun and had a cute 'Where the Wild Things Are' theme! Auntie Stella and Uncle Spencer did a really nice job with all the cute decorations from candy bar, cupcakes, balloons and cute onesies!
