Halloween

October 31st

Today was Halloween! I dressed up as a bumble bee and Kiley dressed up as a baby Tiger. Mommy and I went to the Fremont hub during the day to go 'trick or treating' during the day.  There were a lot of kids there and a lot of places handing out candy. It was fun although I was more interested in eating all the candy rather than going to all the stores!

Later that night I went trick or treating with Hugo in his neighborhood. There were alot of kids going from house to house! Hugo's cousins, Emi and Owen came with us too and I had a lot of fun hanging out with them and trying to keep up with them! I loved going up to all the houses, but mostly because all of them gave me more candy!! Mommy had to hold my pumpkin because it started to get too heavy and full of candy for me to carry! Kiley stayed home with Bachan and Daddy, who were handing out candy at our house. It was a fun night and I'm looking forward to 'trick or treating' again next year!

Kiley 2 months

October 30th

Kiley turned 2 months old today! She's getting so big! Kiley had her appt and the doctor said she weighed 10 pounds 11 ounces and is 21" tall! =) Overall she's doing well! She still sleeps quite a bit during the day, but has been a bit more 'awake' lately! She can lift her head slightly in tummy time and actually seems to like to be on her stomach even though she just usually falls asleep in that position. She also just started to 'coo' a little bit too!  Mommy tried to compare my 2 month pictures with those of Kileys! I look so much bigger in the pictures, but I think we are pretty similar in weight. They aren't the best pictures to compare us, but you can see some similarities!

Fairyland

October 27th

Today Mommy, Bachan and I went to Fairyland in Oakland. Bachan said she used to take my mommy there when she was little. It was a neat place with different fairyland 'themes' throughout the park. We happened to go on the weekend that they were doing a Halloween 'hunt' throughout the park so it made it extra fun! We got to collect lots of treats throughout the park and I got to eat a lot of them too! It was a fun day!

Kiley meets Papa

October 27th

Today Kiley got to meet Papa. We all went to visit him and bring him some flowers. Kiley slept the whole time, but I'm sure Papa was very happy to see and meet her. We miss Papa every day and hope he knows that we are always thinking of him.

Pumpkin carving!

October 26th

Bachan had planted a pumpkin plant earlier this year and we've been watching one of the pumpkins get bigger and bigger! The plant only produced one pumpkin, but that's all we needed for us to have a jack o lantern! Today I helped Bachan pick the pumpkin and then we got to cut it open and take all the seeds out! It was very messy but I had fun playing with all the gooey insides! Then Bachan helped me carve the outside of the pumpkin! My mommy had another pumpkin that she carved too. It was fun making jack o lanterns today! I'm excited to see what they look like at night with a candle in them! Thanks Bachan for helping me with the pumpkin- from planting the seed, watering it, harvesting it and finally carving it!

Fun evening with Hugo

October 25th
We got to have a fun evening with Auntie Stephanie, Hugo and Eamon tonite! Auntie Stephanie brought over a bunch of crafts for me and Hugo and we had a lot of fun putting them together! She even brought us cupcakes to decorate and eat! Yum! We had a lot of fun playing with each other and doing crafts for Halloween!

First teeth cleaning

October 23rd

Today I went to get my teethed cleaned at the dentist for the first time! I had gone to the dentist before, but they just looked at my teeth at that time. This time the dentist actually used a tickly brush to clean my teeth! I had been reading an Elmo book about when he goes to the dentist, so I was aware of what they did there and Mommy kept trying to prep me for my visit. I did really well and didn't cry at all! And even when I was done, I asked Mommy when I could go back to see the dentist again! Mommy was so happy I had a good first experience!
