5 months old

February 22

Today I turned 5 months old! I went to the doctors and they said I now weigh 15 lbs 12 ounces and am 26 inches tall!

Here are some of the new things I'm doing:

Sitting more upright in my tripod position and grabbing my toes

Grabbing and holding my toys and putting them in my mouth...

Able to hang out in tummy time position longer...

Still not sure what to do with my hands .. but I like the flying position!... 

Playing in my stand up 'saucer' and reaching for the toys...

Sucking on my fingers and drooling all the time...

Able to grab my toys on my playmat... 

Rolling from tummy to my back...

Here I go...

I did it! ( I did end up on my back, but my mommy didn't get my finished product!)

February 12

Today I got to hang out with Tyler. We had fun playing together and were fascinated with each others hands and mouths! We are both sucking on our own hands, but we wanted to try something different today!

superbowl sunday

February 6th

Today I got to go over to Damon's house to watch the superbowl.  I got to see a lot people there and finally meet Auntie Jane, Auntie Sharon and Uncle Kei. It was fun! Mommy forgot to bring the camera though, so I didn't get as many pictures with everyone as I wanted ! I got to hang out with Tyler and Damon! Tyler is getting so big and he has 2 little teeth already! His mommy and daddy just started him on solid foods and they said he really likes it! I can't wait to try some different foods soon too! And Damon is getting so big too! He still really loves his musical instruments and loves to have people try and play his ukulele for him! Damon was nice and let me sit with him while Auntie Ashley read us some of his books! He even helped me wipe off my drool with my bib (my mommy wished she got a picture of that because she thought it was cute)! Anyways, I can't wait to see everyone again soon!

January 25th

My mommy finally got a video of me laughing! In this video I'm laughing at my daddy who's making 'mmm mmm' noises about how good his food is.

4 months old

January 22nd

Today I turned 4 months old! Wow! Time flies so fast and I'm getting so big! I haven't had my 4 month check-up yet, so I don't officially know how much I weigh right now but my mommy and daddy say I'm getting really heavy! =) At 4 months, I am now able to push up on my hands and elbows in tummy time and even reach out with one hand. I can consistently grab things and shake them around when I'm sitting, but I tend to favor using only my right hand. I like to try and 'stand' up when my mommy and daddy hold me on their laps and I've just started to try and grab things and put them in my mouth, mostly  my bib and burp cloths. I can also perform a 'sitting' position in the tripod position, but only for a few seconds! I haven't figured out rolling yet but can get to my side from my back. I like to suck on my thumb for comfort and am trying to learn to take the bottle for feedings!

January 21

Today we went to visit Auntie Janell, Jeremy and Garrett. It was such a nice day so we all went to the park close by. My mommy walked with me in her Ergo carrier since I like it much better now that I am bigger and can look around when I'm in it! At the park I watched Jeremy play on the slides! It looked like a lot of fun! Afterwards we went back and had lunch. I got to play with Garrett's zebra and then later sit in his booster chair while my mommy and Auntie Janell ate. I really enjoyed sitting in the booster chair so when I got home, my mommy decided to set up my infant-high chair for me to use! It was a great idea because now I can sit and see mommy and daddy at the table and 'be a part' of meal time! Plus, now, my mommy can eat without having to hold me all the time and I can sit and play with all my toys on my tray! What a great new thing!

January 20
Today my mommy and grandma had lunch with Auntie Sheri! It was so nice to finally meet her! My mommy had a nice time talking with her and enjoyed sharing 'baby' stories! I hope I can see her again soon! And I hope I can meet Uncle Jeff and their kids soon too!
