Jenn's bridal shower

August 21

Today my mommy, grandma and I went to my second cousin (my mommy's cousin), Jennifer's bridal shower. She's getting married in November and we are very excited for her! We had a really fun time there, especially my mommy because she participated in an 'Amazing Race' game- full of kayaking, jogging to the park, water balloon tossing, fishing bottles out of a pool and solving puzzles- while grandma watched me and we both watched everyone participating. The bridesmaids did a really nice job of having fun games! I had a fun time watching everyone play them all and even 'helped' a little with one of the collage projects/games.  My mommy had a nice time catching up with Jennifer and getting to see Auntie Eileen and my other second cousin, Stephanie.  It was a long day for me, but I did really well and didn't get fussy at all, even though it was well past my nap time by the time we left! We look forward to seeing them all again soon! Congratulations Jennifer!

August 20

Since my daddy was away abalone diving and Uncle Ryan was away at work, my mommy and Auntie Janell decided to get together for lunch. It was nice to see Auntie Janell and Jeremy and Garrett! It had been a long time since we had all gotten together and my mommy had a fun time catching up with Auntie and I had a fun time playing and watching Jeremy and Garrett! They have so many cool toys at their house that I have so much fun playing with! Auntie Janell made lunch for everyone and even cut some up for me! It was yummy! Thank you Auntie! I had a fun time at their house and my mommy did too! We look forward to seeing them again soon!

Oakland Zoo

August 17th
Today my mommy's co-worker, Kyle, had the day off and invited us to join him and Devin at the Oakland Zoo! It was my first time at the zoo! I stayed awake the whole time we were there and enjoyed seeing all the animals! Unfortunately it was a hot day, so most of the animals were 'hiding' in the shade or shelter, I enjoyed seeing the ones that were out and about! I especially liked the giraffes because they were so close to us and so big! I had a fun time hanging out with Devin and Uncle Kyle too! Thanks for inviting us! Hopefully I can go back to the zoo again soon!

Tahoe again

August 12th
I got to go up to Tahoe again! My mommy and daddy wanted to go one more time before the summer ends and the cold weather starts! It was a really nice weekend up there and I had fun going on my first gondola ride, visiting squaw valley, and hanging out with the family!

Tyler's first bday

August 7th

Today we went to Tyler's 1st bday party! It was nice to see him, Auntie Stella and Uncle Spencer! I also go to meet a lot of new babies and see a lot of Aunties and Uncles I haven't seen in a long time! The party was a lot of fun and had a cute 'Where the Wild Things Are' theme! Auntie Stella and Uncle Spencer did a really nice job with all the cute decorations from candy bar, cupcakes, balloons and cute onesies!

Uncle Brent and Alexander come visit

August 6th
My Daddy's Uncle Brent and cousin Alexander are here in town so we got to see them today!! It was so nice to meet the both of them! The last time my mommy and daddy saw them, I was still inside my mommy's tummy! We had a nice day hanging out with them and I had a lot of fun with the both of them!

I especially enjoyed playing with Alexander, my second cousin! He was so good with me and entertained me! Usually I'm pretty fussy with new people, but I had no problem warming up to him and playing with him and showing him my toys! They are here until next Friday, so hopefully I'll get to see them at least one more time before they leave!

Uncle Brent gave me a cool Chicago Bears cap! I usually don't like things on my head, but I liked the cap and wore it most of the afternoon!

I also got a cute little lady bug stuffed animal with 'treats' inside,  from Mark, my Grandpa in Chicago. I had fun trying to open and close it's zipper bag! Thank you for thinking of me, Grandpa!

Daddy's company picnic/ lunch with Auntie Denise

August 5th

Today my daddy had his company picnic! It was a fun event and they had everything from temporary tattoos to jumpy houses to tarot card readers! I'm still too little to participate in many of the things, but hopefully next time!
