Disneyland!!!

May 15-19

I got to go to Disneyland again!!!! I was so excited about the trip I kept asking when we were going! And I was even more excited that I was going to get to spend the trip with Uncle Spencer, Auntie Stella, Tyler and Uncle Todd, Auntie Ashley, Damon and Trevor!!

My favorite thing about Disneyland is seeing all the characters!!! I got to see a lot of different ones than I did in the past, including some princesses and fairies! My mommy finally got me an autograph book so now I can collect all their autographs and put their pictures next to them! My favorite character is still Goofy though!! He's so funny!

I also liked just hanging out with all the other kids! My mommy's friends from college met us down there too and so there were even more kids to hang out with!!! At dinner, there were more kids than adults! It was a chaotic , noisy and fun dinner though, especially with all the balloon animals flying around the table!

On the last night we went to see the World of Color show at California Adventure! It was my first time seeing it ( my mommy and daddy went last year, but I was sleeping during it). I liked it although I was worried about getting wet from all the water ( which I didn't). Auntie Stella bought us the cool Mickey ears that light up with the music!! They were really neat to watch and to wear!! It was a long night and a long weekend but it was all worth it and I had a lot of fun! I'm already asking Daddy when I can go back again. His response was 'ask me in a month'. I think Disneyland wore him out more than it did me!!

May 11th

May 8th

Today Auntie Stephanie had a day off so mommy and Kiley went to visit her and Eamon! My mommy always has a lot of fun hanging out with Auntie Stephanie and Kiley had a lot of fun playing with Eamon! Hopefully next time mommy will bring me along too!

Papa's Memorial Service

May 4th
Today is Papa's memorial service. It's hard to believe it's been a year since he has passed away. It doesn't seem that long ago. I know they say 'time heals', but it sure will take a long 'time' for that to be true. We all think about him each and every day and I still ask for him from time to time. My mommy likes to continue to believe that he's just on a long trip somewhere. It's easiest for all of us to deal with it in our own ways. Nevertheless, he will always be with us somehow someway and we will always remember him and miss him.

After the memorial service we went to the cemetery to visit Papa. Sister and I fell asleep in the car on the way there , but mommy, daddy, bachan, Auntie, Uncle and Colty were there to pay their respects.

Kiley turns 8 months old!

April 30th

Today Kiley turned 8 months today!! Kiley is rolling all over the place! She’ll be in one place one second and then before you know it she’ll be somewhere else! We have to keep an eye on her now! She is pretty good at sitting and occasionally will still fall backwards but not often. She can reach forward really far when sitting and can now go into the prone position on her tummy. She can push herself all the way up on her hands when she’s on her tummy and can even get herself in the quadruped position now! She’ll push herself backwards a lot or rock back and forth and lately she’s been doing some bunny hopping! It won’t be long til she starts crawling and getting into all my things!! She can manage to get to things on the floor through her own way of moving, rolling, reaching, bunny hopping etc. so I have had to take my things out of her reach. She always wants to stand up and will try and pull herself up when she can! She’ll stand for quite a long time and try to reach everything in sight! She’s getting better with her hands! She can get puffs in her mouth now and can grab a lot of smaller things. She can pass things from one hand to the other and just learned to clap and bang two things together! Kiley and I play 'music' together a lot of times! Mommy says she loves to look and watch people especially me! I try to make her laugh as much as I can! It's pretty easy though, cuz all I have to do is make a silly face and she'll laugh at me. Kiley has been ‘talking’ a lot lately too! Lots of sounds and been staying ‘baabaa’, ‘daadaa’, and ‘maamaa’. My name is a little harder to say so I wonder what she'll try to call me when she starts talking! =)
