15 months old

December 22nd

Today I turned 15 months old!

I am walking all over the place now! I especially love to walk outside, smell all the flowers, touch all the plants and help walk Rocky ( and even pretend to help pick up his poop!).

I love books!

I still love to read and will sit in your lap to have you read to me. I love playing with my toy kitchen, my toy tea set and my toy veggies/ fruits and pretend that I'm making something or eating/drinking something.

Helping mommy do some baking

 I still love bubbles and have learned to blow them all on my own now! I love to watch my mommy and daddy bake/cook and always want to try to help them ( if they'll let me!). I still love music and will dance to it whenever I hear it! I also love to help my mommy with the laundry and with putting things away. I am saying a lot of words now like 'more', 'dog', 'cracker', 'wawa', 'cat', 'one', 'hot', 'nana' ( for banana), 'baby', 'moo', 'woof woof' etc.

I love to play with Rocky and chase him around and give him lots of hugs ( he doesn't always want them though!).  Daddy, on the other hand, LOVES to get my hugs! And look at how big my feet are getting! Mommy says that I have Daddy's feet.. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing! =)

Tahoe

December 18th-23rd

Today we headed up to Tahoe! It is our first trip up for the winter season. Unfortunately there hasn't been any snow so there wasn't any snow near our condo. The Northstar village was nicely decorated though and I enjoyed all the lights and the large Christmas tree with presents! Now that I'm walking around on my own, I have so much fun taking off and walking all over the place! Mommy and Daddy have to keep an eye on me because if not, I'm gone on my own adventure, checking everything out and touching everything I can!

We found some patches of snow that I got to walk around on and touch. Hopefully next time I'll get to try riding on a sled or actually playing in the snow!

Crab/Uncle Dean's bday

December 10th

This morning my daddy went crabbing and caught a few crabs and before he cleaned them, I got to see and touch them up close and personal.

Feels strange...

Later that night we went out to dinner for Uncle Dean's bday. We went to a yummy steak place and I got to eat lots and lots of fries!! I love fries, and they keep me happy when we're out to eat! It was nice to see Uncle Dean, Auntie Nicole and grandma and grandpa!

Santa Claus

December 9th

Today mommy, me and grandma went to the mall to do some christmas shopping. Santa was there taking pictures so my mommy jumped at the opportunity to get me to take a picture with him ( mommy will have to scan the photo in soon..).  Luckily we went early so there wasn't much of a line. Lately I haven't been very willing to be held by strangers, but the photographers kept me entertained with stuffed animals and funny faces so I didn't cry at all!

Super Franks

December 6th

Today I had a play date with my friend, Malena, from Gymboree. We went to Super Franks in Pleasanton. It was a really big place with lots of different 'play' rooms full of different toys and activities. They even had leather couches and lots of chairs/ tables for all the 'parents' to sit and hand out. It was a pretty cool place and I had fun exploring all the new things. It was nice to see Malena and her mommy, Kiku, too. Hopefully we'll get to have more fun play dates in the future!

December 4th

Today we went to Connor's 4th birthday! It was at Pump it Up in San Jose. It was my first time here! It looked neat, but I was hesitant to move much more than an arms width away from mommy! I did LOVE the pizza though! That was also a first for me and I inhaled a whole piece all by myself ( and still had room for the yummy cake too!).

Decorating the tree

December 3rd

Tonight we decorated the christmas tree! I was fascinated by all the lights and had fun playing with them before my mommy and daddy had to put them on the tree. I was also very interested in the 'new tree' in our house and wanted to keep touching it. I helped my mommy put a few ornaments on it but lost interest pretty quickly.
