Santa Cruz

April 10th

Today Daddy and I went to santa cruz to support Mommy on her half marathon! I had to get up really early, so I was pretty tired by the time my Mommy crossed the finish line but Daddy did a good job of keeping me entertained so that I could see mommy after her race! I even made it through breakfast with my mommy's co-workers, but I passed out right after that! Mommy and Daddy walked along the boardwalk afterwards and I woke up long enough for Mommy to get a picture of me near the sand! It was a really pretty day in santa cruz!

Busy day with friends!

April 7th
Today I had a busy day! My grandma's friend Mrs Minamide came by to visit me! Her two granddaughters, Megan and Rachel, came with her too and I had a lot of fun playing with them, watching them and having them hold me! They were so good with me! It was nice to meet them and nice to see Mrs Minamide again!

Later that day my mommy got together with her friends Stephanie, Daniel, Jaime, & Diana. I got to see Auntie Jaime's daughter, Ka'ele (1 yr old) and Auntie Steph's son, Adam ( almost 2 yrs old) again and I had so much fun watching them play! Pretty soon I'll be able to walk around and join in on the fun, but for now I really like to sit back and watch! My mommy had a lot of fun getting to hang out with her friends too! We hope we can see all of them again soon! Next time Auntie Diana will have to bring her boys, JohnJohn and Joey since they were'nt able to come this time!

6 month pictures

April 3rd

Today I went to get my 6 month pictures! I did pretty good considering that my mommy and daddy had to wake me up from my nap! Here are a few of them!

April 2nd
Today my mommy and I went to Ka'ele's 1st birthday party. Ka'ele is my 'Auntie' Jaime's daughter. Jaime now lives in Hawaii, so my mommy was happy to see her and her husband, Alika again and I got to finally meet Ka'ele. She is such a cutie! Hopefully we can play together in the future!

Pretty dresses!

April 1st 

The weather was so nice today that my mommy had fun finally getting to dress me in all my new dresses! I have so many cute dresses, but haven't had the chance to wear any of them because the weather has been so cold! Here's a few pictures ( mommy wanted to take more of other dresses but I was getting impatient!)! Hopefully the weather stays nice so that I can show off all my other pretty dresses!

Tahoe 5

March 27th

We went to Tahoe again over the weekend! We had planned this trip awhile ago so unfortunately we had to miss my friend Lance's bday party =( ! Sorry Lance! There was so much snow up in Tahoe!  We almost didn't think we'd make it up because roads were closed for over a day! My mommy and daddy said it was worth the drive when the roads finally opened though, because ski conditions were awesome! There was so much snow near our condo that my daddy had fun making little holes/ tunnels in them for me to play in! My uncle Dean was also there, so it was a lot of fun to see him and hang out with him again! Hopefully my auntie Nicole can join us next time!

6 months old!

March 22

I'm 6 months old today! I'm getting so big! Some the new things that I'm doing are :
reaching for everything in sight! ( my mommy and daddy have to be careful of what's within my arms reach because I'll get it! ); using my hands to feel things ( I especially like the sound and texture of the sofa and the crunchiness of plastic bags!) ; using my teething toys more easily ( I can put my toy in my mouth easily and suck on it!) ; sitting upright all by myself and playing with my toys ( mommy still has to be right behind me though, just in case I get too excited and jump backwards!) ; making 'raspberry' noises with my mouth ( I get spit ALL over the place!); 'babbling' a lot more ( I especially like to 'sing' with my mobile music) ; sticking everything in my mouth ( including trying to fit BOTH my hands in my mouth at the same time!) ; recognizing people's faces ( starting to get a little 'stranger' danger), playing with my feet ( and taking my socks off and sometimes putting my feet in my mouth!), and rolling from back to tummy and tummy to back ( I'm especially good when I'm upset in my crib!); and standing with support!  It seems like I'm changing and growing so fast!
