Baby Sister!!

August 30th

Today my baby sister, Kiley Harumi Takemoto Millard, was born! She was born at 5:30 AM so I won't get a chance to see her until she comes home in a couple of days. Bachan will be staying with me for a couple of days until Mommy, Daddy and baby sister come home.  Here are some pictures of my baby sister! She's so little! My mommy and daddy say I was little like that at one time, but I don't remember!

Malena's 2nd bday/ Lorax movie

August 25th

Today I went to my friend Malena's 2nd bday party! It was great to see Malena and her mommy, Kiku, and of course I had a lot of fun at the party! Lots of bubbles, coloring, eating and of course cupcakes! Auntie Kiku is such a crafty person! She made all of us cute mouse princess hats, homemade bubbles and bubble wands and homemade pizza dough! She did a great job in planning the party!! She even made Malena's 'birthday party' dress!! It was so cute on her!

Later that night my mommy and daddy took me to an outdoor movie at Ardenwood Park in Fremont! I got to see the Lorax on the big screen outside!!! They had crafts there and lots of people! I had such a good time watching the movie ( and I sat and watched the WHOLE thing), that I still talk about it today! I hope that I can go to another one of those movies again!!

Turkeys/Lake DeValle/Cody

August 19-20th

We had turkeys in our backyard today!!! There are always wild turkeys walking around the area but this is the first time we've ever had turkeys actually fly into our backyard and hang out! I was fascinated and Rocky was going crazy with excitement!

Later that day we went to Lake DeValle to have lunch. Unfortunately there wasn't any sand at the lake, to play with,  but they did have lots of rocks and I was just as happy playing with them as I would've if there was sand!

The next day my mommy's long time family friend Derek Kishida and his family ( wife Beverly, sons Cody and Kenji) came to visit!! They were visiting from down south and made a stop over to see us! It was great to meet them and mommy really enjoyed catching up with her friend Derek!

Dean/Nicole baby shower & Obon

August 11th

Today we went to Auntie Nicole and Uncle Dean's baby shower. The shower was put on by Auntie Nicole's family in Moraga. I had a lot of fun especially with Bella, Auntie Tara's little doggie! Auntie Nicole and Uncle Dean are expecting their baby boy on October 1st! We are so excited for them and I am very excited to have another cousin!

Later that night we went to the SACBC Obon festival. Unfortunately we got there late but I still got to dance one dance with Bachan! It was my first Obon festival and I had a lot of fun! I love dancing! Hopefully next year I'll get to dance more of the festival!!

Thomas the train

Aug 5th

Today I got to go to Thomas the train! Every year a bunch of mommy and daddy's friends go with their kids, but this is the first time we all joined them! It was a really neat event and they had all kinds of cool activities for us- tattoos, jumpy houses, a train ride, music/ magic show, trains and legos to play with! We had a really fun time and hope we can come back again next year!!
