Happy Easter!

April 24th

Today is my first Easter! I got a lot of cute things from the easter bunny(ies)- lots of books, cute outfits , fun new toys and cute stuffed animals! Thanks Easter bunny(ies)!

Jay & Jane's wedding shower

April 23rd
Today I went with my mommy and daddy to Auntie Jane and Uncle Jay's wedding shower. I was asleep for most of the beginning, but when I woke up I got to see lots of my friends and aunties and uncles! It was fun to see all of them again! Here are just a few of the people that I got to hang out with... ( unfortunately my mommy didn't get pics of everyone... )

7 months old!

April 22nd
Today I turned 7 months old! I'm getting so big and growing out of my clothes so fast! At my appointment a few weeks ago I was 16.8 lbs and 26 inches long!
Right now I've been experimenting with getting onto all fours and rocking back and forth, but haven't started to crawl yet. I can 'move', or rather push, myself backwards though, and tend to use that technique to maneuver myself around the floor! I can stand by myself holding onto something and I can grab things with both my hands! I can even grab things with my fingers and untie bows and turn pages in the books. Last week I started to get my first tooth on the bottom and this week my second tooth is coming in! I'm starting to eat solids but I'm still getting used to it and I've tried the sippy cup, but I'm not very good at using it yet. I'm also starting to 'wave', but more to myself than to anyone else. I think I'm just fascinated by the movements of my hand opening and closing. I'm looking forward to learning and doing more things soon!

Easter Bunny!

April 17th
Today my mommy and me got to meet up with Auntie Ashley, Damon, Auntie Stella and Tyler to take pictures with the Easter Bunny! Surprisingly I did really well with the big furry rabbit and didn't cry at all! It took me awhile to warm up to the bunny but eventually I cracked a quick smile!  It was a really nice day, so afterwards, we all got to hang out around the mall together, have lunch and even tried to take a quick 'group' picture, which unfortunately was very unsuccessful! Getting all of us to sit at the same time and stay happy was a challenge, but it was a long morning and we were all getting tired! Oh well, it was a good attempt and we all had fun hanging out! I can't wait to see them again soon!

Visiting Garrett and Jeremy

April 15th

Today I got to see Auntie Janell, Uncle Ryan and my friends Garrett and Jeremy again! It had been awhile since we had gotten together, so it was really nice to see them! Garrett and Jeremy have so many fun toys! I had so much fun playing with all of them! Garrett was nice and 'played' with me for a little while! He's already 'cruising' around, so I wasn't able to keep up with him, but soon enough I'm sure I'll be following him all over the place! I also had fun playing in their jumper! They don't need it anymore so they are going to let me  borrow it for home! I'm sure I'll have lots of fun with it! I hope to see them again soon!

April 14th
Tonite Auntie Stephanie invited my mommy and me over for dinner since my daddy is going to be gone for the whole weekend. I got to see my friend Hugo and Uncle Jeff too! We had a lot of fun there. My mommy tried to get a picture of me and Hugo together but I was too tired by the time she wanted to do it. Hugo is so much fun to watch! Hopefully I will be able to play with him soon! Thanks Auntie Steph, for having us over!

Eating solids!

April 11th
Last week I finally got to try some 'solid' food! My mommy and daddy fed me rice cereal mixed with milk! Most of it ended up on my face and bib the first few times, and I liked to push everything out with my tongue, but after a week of practice I got used to it and started to open my mouth for the spoon and even wanted to grab the spoon to 'feed' myself! Tonight I got to try mashed bananas for the first time! It was definitely a different taste and I didn't like it at first, but after I got used to it, I gobbled it all up! I can't wait for my next new solid food!
